Unlock Futures resources are written by Mandeep Kaur Aujla, an adult educator and trainer with more than twenty years of experience teaching adults across Australia and New Zealand.
This page explains how they are made, including where AI tools are used. We would rather tell you plainly than have you wonder.
Who decides what goes in
The teaching comes from the classroom. What to include, what to leave out, the order things are taught in, and the way a difficult idea is explained — those decisions are made by someone who has taught these skills to real learners and has watched where people get stuck.
That is the part you are paying for, and it is not something a tool can supply.
Where AI tools help
We use AI tools the way we use a word processor or a design program: as tools, with a person deciding what to keep. They assist with:
- Drafting and rewriting passages, which are then edited
- Checking spelling, grammar and Australian English
- Laying out pages and drawing diagrams
- Proofreading, and catching errors before publication
What we always do
- Every page is read and approved by the author before publication.
- Every instruction, shortcut and step is checked against the real software.
- Illustrations are original diagrams rather than screenshots. No real names, email addresses or personal information appear in any file.
- Errors are our responsibility, whatever tool was involved in making them. When we find one, we publish a corrected edition, and existing customers receive it free of charge.

Why we say all this
Unlock Futures also teaches adults how to use AI tools well. It would be a strange thing to teach openly and then be quiet about our own use of them.
